Our signature feature: all seven Opal shades are infused with holographic pigments, creating an iridescent shimmer that catches and reflects light from every angle — brighter and more luminous than ordinary shimmer watercolor paints. No fixation needed.
Long-lasting Colors
Handcrafted with extremely high pigment density. The custom hexagon pan size (2.6–2.8 ml) holds 5–6× more paint than a mini pan — long-lasting through tutorials and full paintings.
High Opacity
The very fine pigments are completely covering on white and black watercolor paper with only one brushstroke.

I couldn't wait to try out my Opal and May give-away sets, so I used them to make this 90th birthday card for my mother-in-law. Paints used - Candy cane, Guave, Morganite, Pixie and Pegasus from May give-away, and Holo Caramel, Holo Honey, Holo Clover, Holo Lagoon and Holo Paradise from the Opal set. Love them!

Very nice colors in this set. A total pleasure to try out these high quality paints. I should buy the larger size because the small pan's surface is not wide enough to grab paint freely. Still, the small pan design looks really cute.

Store owner replied: Hi Kathleen, we describe in detail how much paint it is. Also that set was our black friday special and a free add on for orders above 100 USD but I guess you also did not seet that.
I thought these would be more vibrant than they are. They do not go on as smoothly as I feel they should and have to have many layers applied to give it a smooth and finished look.
Store owner replied: Hi Ruth, the paints are fully covering. Please make sure to activate them with a small amount of water, waiting a few minutes until they become creamy. Make sure the brush can take up enough paint - it will work fine then. Lisi shows it regulary in her videos. With regards to vibrancy I'm surprised - did you use direct lighting? In our Tutorial 6 we have a whgole chapter about the importance of lighting - you can get it when signing up for free to our newsletter - the link to the tutorial is in the welcome email. They are all beautiful !!! Very happy with my purchase
I am new to watercolor painting, very much an amateur but I do have say these are the most beautiful metallic paints I've ever seen. These paints are expensive,,,,,,,, but they're worth every cent. I am ready to purchase more. The only thing I would like to see is a color chart so that I could make sure that I am labeling the paints correctly.
