The Story Behind Velvet
Every set begins long before the final colours are chosen. Throughout our creative journey, countless shades are mixed, refined and carefully considered. Some immediately find their place in a set, while others quietly wait for the perfect opportunity to tell their own story.
Scarlet and Bordeaux were two of those shades. Both colours made it into our final selection rounds, yet ultimately weren’t included in a permanent set. Their rich, velvety character and sparkling depth stayed with us, and we knew they deserved a moment of their own.
To celebrate these hidden gems, we created Velvet – a limited set featuring each shade with and without holographic pigments: one with a pure silver sparkle, one with holographic pigments mixed in for a rainbow sparkle.
Velvet is a glimpse behind the scenes of our creative process – bringing together shades that almost became part of another story and now have one of their own.
The Four Shades
Scarlet
A rich, warm scarlet red with a luminous silver sparkle. This elegant shade combines the intensity of classic crimson with a cool, metallic glow, creating a beautifully balanced and timeless red.
Holo Scarlet
The beloved warmth of Scarlet, with holographic pigments mixed in: delicate sparkles that dance in the light and reveal a magical rainbow glow from every angle.
Bordeaux
A deep, velvety red with a subtle magenta undertone and an elegant silver sparkle. Sophisticated and luxurious, this shade shifts beautifully between rich ruby and refined berry tones.
Holo Bordeaux
The rich depth of Bordeaux paired with sparkling holographic pigments, adding a captivating play of light and giving this velvety shade an extra touch of brilliance.
