Hey, I'm so happy to finally present to you Elsi's Alchemy and my first guide on how to paint a shimmering fairy.
I became a fan of Lisilinka more than 2 years ago and from the beginning on we had a great synergy. So they offered me to make a unique set with four of my favourite and most versatile colors.
In this 1st tutorial of a fairy, you’ll experience the mesmerizing shift of Saturn and Pixie, the vibrant glow of Caribbean, and the rich depth of Candy Cane. These colors don’t just work together—they elevate each other, creating a dazzling, enchanting result you’re going to love.
In the next months I will use this specific set to create various motifs. The next one will most probably be a cherry blossom painting with blue background representing the sky!
Why did i choose "Pixie", "Saturn", "Caribbean" & "Candy Cane" in Elsi's Alchemy
- Pixie is actually one of the shifters I use most often (alongside with Pegasus), because in certain light, it gives this amazing luminous shine with a subtle shifting effect. It's perfect for highlights, and I only need a very little amount of it to get the result I want.
- Saturn has lovely warmth and depth to it, and it's very bright and shiny –it can be a bit overpowering if used too generously, but it's perfect for highlighting certain details.
- Caribbean is so, sooooo vibrant, especially in sunlight! The name describes perfectly how it feels to me. With Saturn, they complement each other beautifully.
- And Candy Cane – I just love that delicious, deep, cool red with holographic pigments! It gives beautiful depth combined with Pixie's brightness.
